The Network of Asian American Organizations and the Austin Asian American Chamber of Commerce present a Town Hall meeting with Mayor Lee Leffingwell, plus a free buffet meal, including many vegetarian options, served for up to 250 people. The program begins at 7 p.m. with an update about the Asian American Resource Center, then Mayor Leffingwell will talk about the US Census and why everyone needs to be counted -- over $400 billion/year of federal money is distributed based on the Census.
